How long does it take to heal? What is the recovery time?
Brows will take about 4- 6 weeks until they reach their final look. But it only takes 2 weeks for scabbing process to complete. After 2 weeks you can return to normal routine and activities.
How often do I need a touchup?
We recommend yearly touch ups to keep the color fresh. It varies from client to client, but it can be 9 months to 2 years, depending on the client’s skin type and life style.
Who is suited for this procedure?
Clients with normal skin are perfect candidates for microblading, not too oily or sensitive. Our Master Artist will sometimes suggest Combo Brows for client’s with moderately oily skin and are oily skin clients are better suited for Powder Brows. Our Online Appointment Process will assess your eyebrows and skin by asking you a few questions and based on your answers it will recommend a certain technique (Microblading, Powder brows, or Combo brows) and artist best suited for you.
Who is not a candidate for microblading?
Anyone with oily skin. Oily skin will cause the hairstrokes to become thicker over time. The oil in the skin causes the pigment underneath the skin to disperse. If you suspect you have oily skin, we offer a consultation over email.
Just send us a photo of your skin without makeup at its normal level of oily-ness and one of our Master Artists will evaluate your skin and make their best recommendation. You can upload a photo on our contact page. Clients with oily skin are better suited for Powder Brows.

💫 Powder Brows HEALING PROCESS – What to Expect
At Canada Permanent Makeup, we believe that aftercare is just as important as the Powder Brows procedure itself. How well you care for your new brows will directly impact how they look once healed and how long the results last.
Our certified brow artists create a custom design that enhances your natural beauty—but maintaining that masterpiece is your responsibility after your appointment.
To ensure your Powder Brows heal beautifully and last as long as possible, please follow these aftercare instructions carefully.
Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows! They may feel tender and appear a little red.
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.
Brows are safe from water. Client may return to normal skincare routines.
Brows will appear very light, after scabs comes off, every week up to 6 weeks color will continue to surface and brows will get darker again

🔁 Touch-Up & Maintenance
A touch-up session is highly recommended at 6–8 weeks after your initial Powder Brows appointment to perfect the shape and color.
Touch-up pricing varies based on how long it’s been since your last paid appointment.
We recommend a yearly refresh to maintain the color intensity and crispness of your brows.
👉 Natural fading occurs due to sun exposure, skincare products, and individual skin type.
📌 Touch-up costs are calculated from the date of your last paid visit (including any paid touch-up).
